Hi! I'm currently an Assistant Professor in the Computer & Data Sciences department at the University of St. Thomas. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, advised by James Martin. I've also interned at Bloomberg and Atilika. Previously, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in Mathematics.

I'm interested in verbs and roles in natural language processing and analyzing their usage by both people and computers. I also work with different graph structures of language, including ontologies and abstract meaning representations.
